1. Who we are
GetFavours is operated from Ontario, Canada. We help Canadian local businesses with AI receptionist, website, chatbot, missed-call capture, call summary, appointment-support, and related business-support services.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use GetFavours, we may collect the following information:
- Contact information: name, business name, email address, phone number, location, and preferred contact method.
- Business setup information: services offered, business hours, service area, pricing rules, appointment rules, website links, business instructions, FAQs, scripts, and customer-handling preferences.
- Call and lead information: caller phone number, caller name if provided, reason for the call, requested service, appointment details, call recordings, transcripts, AI-generated notes, summaries, and follow-up status.
- Website and form information: website visits, form submissions, pages viewed, device/browser data, and basic analytics if enabled.
- Payment and subscription information: plan selected, billing email, payment status, Stripe customer ID, invoices, receipts, and transaction records. We do not store full card numbers on our website.
- Communications: messages you send by email, phone, SMS, website form, chatbot, or social media.
Please do not send sensitive medical, legal, financial, emergency, or government-identification information through GetFavours unless we have specifically agreed in writing that our service is appropriate for that use.
3. Calls, transcripts, and AI summaries
Calls handled by or through GetFavours may be recorded, transcribed, analyzed, and summarized. We use these records to deliver the service, send accurate summaries to business owners, troubleshoot issues, improve call handling, review disputes, protect against abuse, and support customer service.
Where required, callers should be told that a call may be recorded, transcribed, or summarized. GetFavours customers are responsible for making sure their callers receive any notice required for their business, industry, province, or professional obligations.
If a caller does not want to continue with a recorded or AI-handled call, they may end the call and contact the business through another available method, if the business provides one.
4. How we use information
We use information for practical business purposes connected to GetFavours, including to:
- Respond to demo requests, questions, support requests, and customer inquiries.
- Set up, test, operate, and improve AI receptionist, website, chatbot, booking-support, and lead-capture workflows.
- Create and update business-specific call handling instructions, FAQs, and service rules.
- Send call summaries, lead notifications, onboarding messages, service updates, billing notices, and support messages.
- Process payments, subscriptions, invoices, cancellations, refunds, and related business records.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, investigate suspicious activity, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Improve our website, services, customer experience, and internal operations.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.
5. Service providers and sharing
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate GetFavours. These may include providers for website hosting, forms, email, phone/SMS, AI voice, transcription, automation, analytics, payments, calendars, customer support, and security.
Examples may include services such as Vercel, Stripe, AI voice/transcription providers, email providers, SMS/phone providers, analytics tools, and similar business tools. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they operate.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect GetFavours, to prevent fraud or abuse, to respond to legal requests, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not publish private call recordings, transcripts, or caller details.
6. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe or another approved payment method arranged with GetFavours. We may receive payment status, billing contact details, invoices, receipts, subscription information, and transaction records.
We do not collect or store full credit-card numbers on our website. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy and security terms.
7. Marketing messages
If you contact us, book a demo, become a customer, or ask to receive updates, we may send emails or text messages about demos, onboarding, billing, service updates, and related offers.
You can opt out of marketing messages by using an unsubscribe option if one is available or by contacting us. Even after you opt out of marketing, we may still send important transactional or service messages, such as billing notices, security notices, account updates, or service-related communications.
8. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, resolving disputes, maintaining business records, improving the service, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.
Call recordings, transcripts, AI notes, and summaries may be retained while a customer account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless deletion is requested and we are legally or operationally able to delete them.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No website, phone system, AI tool, or internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to ask questions about your personal information or to request access, correction, deletion where legally possible, withdrawal of consent for non-essential uses, or opt-out support for marketing messages.
We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain privacy requests. Some information may need to be kept where required for legal, security, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, or service-integrity reasons.
10. Business customers and callers
If you are a caller contacting one of our customer businesses, GetFavours may process your call information on behalf of that business. The business you contacted may also have its own privacy policy, industry rules, and legal obligations.
If you are a GetFavours customer, you are responsible for the information you provide to us, the instructions you give us, and any notices or consents your business is required to provide to its own customers, callers, patients, clients, tenants, buyers, or leads.
GetFavours is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly offer accounts directly to children or collect information from children for account creation.
