Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how GetFavours handles engagement, payment, recurring plans, setup fees, custom work, and refunds. This policy forms part of the GetFavours Terms & Conditions.

1. Demo and payment

Contacting GetFavours or booking a demo is free. We do not collect a payment method just because you submit a contact form or request a demo, and we do not start a subscription or trial that auto-converts to a paid plan. You only become a paying customer after you choose a plan, we confirm the setup details with you, you complete payment through the method we provide, and we activate your service.

2. Recurring plans

Paid plans are billed on the billing cycle you selected at checkout or in your order form. Your subscription renews automatically on the same cycle unless you cancel before your next billing date or renewal date, subject to any longer notice period clearly stated in a signed annual commitment.

3. How to cancel

You may cancel at any time by emailing founder@getfavours.com or calling (807) 300-9458. We recommend using email so you have a written record. Cancellation of a monthly plan takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless your order form says otherwise. We do not charge a new renewal after the cancellation becomes effective.

4. Setup fees

Standard setup fees, when charged, are refundable only if you cancel before we begin manual setup work on your account, unless your order form says otherwise or the law requires a refund. Once onboarding, phone number setup, website setup, domain purchase, or custom configuration has started, setup fees are generally non-refundable because that work is performed manually and may involve third-party costs.

5. Founding-10 fee waiver

If you qualify for our Founding-10 offer, the standard setup fee is waived for the first ten approved businesses that sign up, complete payment, and onboard with us. The waived amount has no cash value and is not paid out as a refund or credit. Founding-10 customers may cancel the Services at any time, and we do not retroactively charge the waived setup fee on cancellation.

6. Monthly subscription refunds

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once billed. If you cancel partway through a paid month, your access continues until the end of that paid month. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused days in a partial month unless the law requires one or we approve an exception in writing.

7. Annual or prepaid terms

If you purchase an annual or prepaid term, your order form will state whether the term is refundable, non-refundable, or partially refundable. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, prepaid terms are non-refundable after the paid term begins, except where required by law or where GetFavours terminates the Services for convenience before the paid term ends.

8. If we fail to deliver

If GetFavours accepts payment and then fails to start the agreed Services within the timeframe stated in your order form, and we do not fix that problem within a reasonable cure period, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid service fees and any unearned setup fees. If GetFavours terminates the Services for our own convenience without your fault during a paid period, we will refund the unused prepaid portion of that period.

9. Third-party costs

Third-party costs that have already been incurred on your behalf are non-refundable. These may include domain registration fees, website platform fees, SMS or carrier charges, paid plug-ins, payment processor fees that are not returned to us, and advertising or media spend.

10. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first at founder@getfavours.com so we can review the issue and try to resolve it quickly. Starting a chargeback does not automatically cancel your subscription. If a chargeback is filed, we may suspend the Services while the dispute is reviewed. If the chargeback is resolved in our favour, you remain responsible for the unpaid charges. Nothing in this policy limits any legal rights you may have that cannot be waived.

11. Refund timing

If we approve a refund, we will send it to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise. Processing times depend on the payment processor and your bank.

12. Consumer-rights savings clause

If you are a consumer under applicable Canadian or provincial consumer law, you may have additional cancellation or refund rights that cannot be waived. This policy applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights.
